Parcel Delivery Safety

As we approach the Black Friday sales and the Christmas period, making sure your parcels are delivered and stored securely is important.

Parcel thefts are not a big issue on our Chelsea Wards, however, there are a number of ways in which you can help reduce the chances your items will be stolen:

Use a parcel locker – across Chelsea there are a number of secure parcel lockers for companies such as Amazon, Evri and the Post Office;

If you are not going to be in, ask a trusted neighbour to take the parcel in for you;

Get ‘signed for’ delivery so the delivery driver must hand it to you directly and get a signature;

Choose a click and collect option and collect directly from the store

If you live in a block, don’t let people tailgate you in – if you don’t know the person, don’t let them follow you in.
